“My ambition is to entertain the audience. And to create films, which unite fantastic stories, a different point of view and subtle social criticism. Always with a fine dose of black humor.”

Werner Fiedler

Werner Fiedler was born in 1976 and lives with his family near Klagenfurt in the south of Austria. Because he had not learned a meaningful profession, he started a career as an freelance editor, cameraman and producer for international television productions in the 90’s. In order to still contribute to rescuing the world, Fiedler now works increasingly on his own socially critical (and funny) films. His latest refugee drama HALIM won several awards at international film festivals.
